First Spouse Gold Coin Mintages
The mintage data for each release of the First Spouse Gold Coins series is presented below.
So far, mintages for the First Spouse series have been an interesting study in extremes. When the first coins of the series were released, they sold the entire maximum mintage on the first day of sales. Subsequent releases experienced diminished popularity, placing mintages at the other end of the spectrum.
The United States Mint offers each coin for sale until it has received orders to fulfill the entire maximum authorized mintage or for approximately one year from the release date, whichever occurs first.
